2024 OI Spring Academy

The OI Spring Academy provides an opportunity for players (middle school and high school) not participating in school baseball to keep their skills sharp until summer practices start. As always, our goal is player development because if you’re not getting better, you are getting worse. Practices and/or games will be held 2-3 times per week for approximately 6 weeks beginning in mid-March. We are pleased to announce that another member of the OI Scout Team, Owen Hood, has committed to play at the next level. Owen will be attending Heidelberg University next fall. He will do a great job in the classroom and on the field.

College Scout Team

Do you want to play baseball in college? If so, you need to check out the new OI College Scout Team. This is a new team focused on preparing, training and placing prospective high school baseball players into a college baseball program. The Ohio Independence baseball program has a long history of producing college student-athletes.
